Are you stick with that problem or does it go away when your taking medice for it??
No. Since it is not an organic disease. It is not curable but managable. There are new medications out there for severe case which your doctor can prescribe but I suggest you try Alternate therapies such as Accupuncture and diet modification and stress reduction as the side efects of western medications can mimic symptoms similar to IBS.

I’m breastfeeding my 10 week old also feeding her formula, but enfamil lipil with iron is giving her constipation, and I’ve researched and it appears that similac advance and nestle good start are the best? So which one should I use? (I know I should probably consult my pediatrician about this but I was just wondering so I would know before I went in to see the pediatrician.) Thanks!
I don’t know if you’re keen on home remedies, but I have something simple that my grandmother has used for over 50 years.
Chamomile tea - add a bit of sugar and keep it warm and she will be pooping in no time. Most of time she will still be drinking while she fills her diaper. It also gives them a new taste.
I used it for both my kids…it also works wonders when they have upset tummies.
Good luck!

* Administer nothing by mouth in episodes of moderate-to-severe acute diverticulitis.
* In mild episodes, a clear liquid diet is advised.
* Long-term management includes a high-fiber, low-fat, and low-beef diet.

I am a 26 yr old female. About 8 months ago, I started having abdominal pain. I have been to 3 Dr.s (gastro, gyno, and family) and none can solve my problem. 6 months ago I had a negative CT scan (without contrast), negative pelvic exam and negative u/s.
Symptoms: Colicky lower left abdominal pain. Lower abdomen, to left of navel and about 1"-2" down stays sore like I have been kicked there, but sharp pain with a swelling feeling come and go all day (last less than 30 seconds every time). Pain (the continuous soreness) can be felt in same place in low back. Have always had problems with constipation (10+ years), but nothing has changed recently. Bowel movements do not seem to change the pain. I have another appt. with gastro tomorrow due to increased pain. I don’t know what I should ask her to try or do, she told me at the last appt. she doesn’t know what else to do. I had a negative colonoscopy 1 yr ago before problems started. Any suggestions or similar symptoms
I would ask if there are any other diagnostic testing that you can do like a MRI or a barium swallow, or a ct scan with contrast. If all the test come back neg. try getting a second opinion.

My sis has told me that they make you lose anywhere from 5-25 pounds depending on the state of your intestines and such. I’ve read articles about them and have seen all the infomercials. I’m mainly interested because if they did actually work, I’d want to clean out my intestines, since supposedly there’s like 5-22 pounds of compressed fecal matter in the average person’s intestines.
There are many natural methods to colon cleanse. When you think about all the toxins that have built up from years of consuming processed food, you can just imagine what lies in the inside lining. Some toxins will stay there forever if not allowed to be flushed out.
You can see the new trend of protecting one’s body, both inside and out becoming the standard in health practices. All natural approaches, exercise and eating more natural foods all help us combat age, and illness.
I recommend that you at least try a natural, homemade Colon Cleanse and see for yourself it’s dramtic healthy feeling. Over the years, I have tried several ways of cleansing, but found a recent product very suited for my needs.
Cleanse and feel healthy,

My nine-year-old Tabby has had bouts of constipation throughout her life, but never quite like this. Will giving her raw or undercooked pork help her out?
I have seen pork cause upset stomachs so bad and diarrhea that pets even end up with pancreatitis.
I would personally stay away from it.
Get something ok’d by the vet like laxatone, pumpkin or…

Hello all: tonight i felt bored and i had like 1500 worth of pancake, figbars and a small piece of cake. And then i took some laxatives and milk of magnesia to burn all those extra calories. My question is, how many laxatives should i take after a big pig out of 2000 calories? I am planing to have another big pancake of 2000 calories on March 11. I will have a big pancake of 2000 calories every 11 of every month to kill boredom and depression.
Um…………why don’t you just cut down on the pancakes and NOT take a bunch of laxatives. It’s not good for you at all.
Why are you planning to binge eat on certain days of the month??

sometimes my stomach feels fine… then for a couple weeks i get diaherra… i was feeling fine until i ate mexican food today then i had to go… i felt better afterwards.. i had a colonoscopy which was normal…this just sucks and kinda worries me :/
does it sound like ibs?
Actually, it does not sound like IBS. There are two types of IBS-one that causes constipation and one that causes diarhea. I have the constipation variety, and mine does not come and go. If I do not take my medicine, I will be stopped up until I do. Since this occured after a spicy meal, it sounds like a normal reaction to a spicy food. Spicy foods can have a tendency to cause stomach upset, especially diarhea (except, of course, for people who have the constipation variety, lol). If they didn’t find it in the colonoscopy, chances are you don’t have it. Also, IBS comes with a telltale sign: a fluttery feeling at the top of your colon (just in the middle of the bottom of the rib cage). I would ask my doctor if I were you, mainly because you describe the diarhea as cyclical (my constipation started out cyclical, as well, although my cycles ran by days, not weeks), but, personally, it doesn’t sound like something to worry about at this moment, since stress and worrying tends to exacerate the problem..

I have diverticulitis, can anyone tell me a little more about it
It is inflammation due to infection of the diverticuli.
Basically an inflamed area of the colon.
I don’t have it myself, I am a nurse.

I have IBS and at times it can be very painful and shameful (wind, diarrhea, bloating etc). Does anyone have tips on how to deal with it?
i know ibs can be very painful but there is a sort of cure,,, get some de gas pills from either the chemist or the shops, what they do is take the pain away and let you live a normal life. I have had ibs for 24 yrs and de gas pills have been my best friend, i cant have high fibre foods or too fatty foods or spicy foods as it hurts my stomach, but if they dont work then go see ur doctor and get some tablets off him /her. hope this helps, toni
